EMKA aid panel access with slide latches

EMKA, aware as ever of the needs of specialist rack manufacturers, introduced the 1091 range of attractive slide latches, ideally suited to rapid panel fitment. Characterised by quick and easy installation, they come in three sizes and are optionally lockable for added cabinet security.
The 1091 program suits panels of 1.2mm to 2.2mm thickness, and is available in three widths - 28mm, 47mm and 86mm, to match the panel size mechanically and aesthetically. In simple slide latch mode they are directly operated for quick removal of side panels, e.g. on 19" racks, when equipment access is needed.
Additionally, a locking facility may be provided by installing a quarter-turn key lock adjacent to the slide latch. This then operates to prevent movement of the slide latch until keyed open.
