Established in 1994 Crabb Engineering are ISO accredited to offer their customers cnc & conventional machining services as well as fabrication & welded services. Based in 12000 sq/ft premises in North Wales they manufacture precision components to custom drawings & information. Typically they supply parts for use in the automotive, aerospace, optical and general engineering sectors.
Historically Crabb Engineering had been generating new customers through traditional advertising techniques and general sales practices that they continue to use in conjunction with Qimtek. It had been decided however that some additional customers were required and therefore additional resources were needed. Steve Fox Crabb Engineering’s Director looked at employing a new sales person but before doing so investigated the sales service provided by Qimtek.
Having compared the options Steve decided to try Qimtek sales service as he felt it had ‘the ability to generate real leads without the need to employ an additional sales person with the associated costs.’
At the outset of the membership Steve aspired to generate ‘between 1 & 3 significant new customers per annum’. In the last 12 months of membership Crabb Engineering have secured 3 new customers, who also generate repeat business for them. In addition one of their biggest customers were introduced to them through Qimtek.
Understandably Crabb Engineering are happy with the services provided and Steve is happy to speak to any companies who may be considering using the service.
