GSM Valtech Industries Ltd, a West Yorkshire based precision sheet metalwork and components manufacturer, is continuing with its programme of investment, despite the economic downturn.
“It’s our philosophy to continually develop and invest in all aspects of our company, including people, plant and machinery,” said Paul Wright, General Manager. “This approach, together with an aggressive sales and marketing strategy will enable us to maintain our growth momentum during these difficult times.”
The recent purchase of a 6-axis robot welding cell with the capability to weld a wide range of materials and products has further enhanced product quality and repeatability. As well as offering the opportunity to further reduce manufacturing lead-times. Benefits which are already being felt by GSM Valtech’s customers. Training was conducted on-site by the manufacturers of the cell using real products in a real manufacturing environment.
“Every member of the GSM Valtech team has their own training plan, which has resulted in all production team leaders gaining NVQ qualifications in effective management and team leadership within the last year, “ Paul Wright continues.
“We offer our customers a ‘one stop shop’ where they can come to us for everything from basic design assistance to fully blown design and manufacture including EMC & RFI consideration. We also provide customised logistics including just in time and Kanban. And can even supply the packaging our customers will use to forward their completed products.”
As part of the strategic marketing plan for continued growth, GSM Valtech is exhibiting at the Southern Manufacturing show in Farnborough on the 11th and 12th February. “We are exhibiting at the show to raise awareness of GSM Valtech’s capabilities to potential customers in the south of England.” stated Andrew Spratt, Business Development Manager.
