D.Wheatland Engineering Limited was established in 1968 by the late Douglas Wheatland. The company is today owned and run by his three sons Richard, David and Alan. The company trades from a well-appointed modern 3000 sq ft factory on the Heath Business Centre, Salfords between Redhill and Horley in Surrey.Our team of Precision Engineers are used to working to the very highest standards, machining a range of components in a variety of materials. We can offer a complete service from the prototyping stage through development to final batch production.Over the last forty years we have built a reputation that we are justifiably proud of, for service quality and dependability at a fair and reasonable cost.

Products and Services

We machine single items and production batches in a variety of steels, alloys, non-ferrous and plastic materials. We are usually able to offer a same day quotation service. We are happy to assist in design and development projects. Materials purchased from our own approved suppliers, full certification of materials and certificates of conformity supplied if requested at the time of order. Where outside contractors are required for specialist services, we only use suppliers approved by ourselves. All work is subject to our own inspection proceedure as set out in our ISO quality manuals. Delivery to customer is usually via a nationwide courier service and charged at cost, local deliveries are usually free using our own vehicle.
We offer a fast,flexible and reliable service at fair and reasonable rates.
