Prototyping (swe: prototypstillverkning) is a process done by manufacturers that do one-offs to engineering businesses.
Prototypes are often complicated and needs suppliers which are willing to work with small projects where feedback is important, for example to make changes to a design.
Depending on its size and design, prototyping can be done by many workshops. Some prototyping projects are small and simple while others are large, complicated and valuable.
