  • Plastic & Rubber-Vacuum Forming Description: Vac forming of a small portable electronic tracking shell. There are two parts, the lids need to be clear and probably made of PET or PP, however they are open to suggestions. The parts can be modified slightly to suit manufacturing process. The base also needs manufacturing from something strong as a pcb and a solar panel need mounting on it. the lid will cover this an protect against weather conditions.

  • Plastic & Rubber-Vacuum Forming Description: Design & Development. 3D milling a plug suitable for vaccuum forming as a preliminary shape for fibre glassing and composite tooling. We would like to explore this option for a change we are planning in the development of our prototype. I have modelled up a form for a nose wheel bucket that fits into the pod molding in Solidworks and have attached an iges file of this. So I suggest the tooling follow the internal surface of this form and a material formed at 3.5mm +/- 1mm. We would only require a tolerance, surface finish and accuracy of +/- 1.5mm on the plug; AS we will be working and finishing this into a fibreglassing tool ourselves. Please can you quote for us a price for a plug and vaccuum forming to reproduce this shape.
