Amag Engineering are specialist sub-contract sheetmetal and fabrication engineers with 20 years experience, working in offshore, aerospace and the oil/gas industries.

During this time, we have worked closely with our many customers including Vetco Gray who have recently presented Amag an award for Supplier Quality Excellence.

Amag Engineering, previously known as A1 Precision Engineers Ltd and Electromag-Neil Ltd , two established companies in their own right, both quality and performance driven, have reaped the benefit in the amalgamation, offering even greater capacity and manufacturing expertise.

The latest investments include:
•An Amada 4Kw Flying Optic laser cutting machine with a 3 metre twin tables and 20mm capacity
•Radan sheet metal 3D software, especially good with the new drawing formats and styles seen today such as Solid Edge and Solid Works.
•Radan E to I software improving and reducing our current paperwork system.

The recent implementation of Vetco Gray’s internet based information exchange system has enabled a more efficient method to obtain the information required to quote and process their orders.
Changes such as this and the new Radan systems can only improve communications and enable accurate pricing and performance monitoring.

Our sheet metal/fabrication facility produces a wide range of components, using most materials. Our reputation and expertise in the fabrication of stainless and titanium enclosures has won praise for our team of coded welders, thus demonstrating our wide range of skills. Couple this with our reputation as excellent CNC machinists which have, without a doubt, improved our status as a modern flexible company.

We also offer an in-house wiring and assembly facility as well as laser marking/engraving. We often supply the complete job manufactured, wired, tested and assembled.
