Kilner Hutchinson
Description
In the 1960's the Scanhill brothers established what is now Kilner and Hutchinson on the site it is still on today.
From the small beginnings of the two Scahill brothers working on an old brick making site, manufacturing small castings in green sand until 1980. The business was bought by Geoff Rhodes and Gerry Nicholson and was renamed Rhodes Nicholson. By introducing furane sand and electric melting they grey the business to the size it is today.
In 2007, the two directors retired and the company was bought by Andrew Kilner & Keith Hutchinson.
With knowledge of new more efficient and productive equipment, the aim is to grow the business and service in the UK and overseas markets with high integrity castings
Here at Kilner & Hutchinson we take pride in our castings and the service that we provide.
Working individually with each customer, we tailor their needs into our production program and ensure a close rapport at all times.
A highly skilled dedicated workforce, from Directors to the personel on the shop floor, maintains high standards; standards which have brought high integrity casting work to our door. We ensure our skill base is maintained through training and the extensive knowledge of over 40 years in the foundry industry. We beleive that this, along with investment in plant and equipment, is the future for our industry in the UK.
