Semi-split set collar clamping assemblies from Elesa

Semi-split set collars are a common way of providing end stops on shafts or for fixing components such as end limit switches without the necessity of additional machining in a damage-free way. These new semi-split set collars from Elesa offer high performance at lower cost by virtue of the precision sintering process used in their manufacture. They are expected to be in demand by design and maintenance engineers in any industry where rotating shaft machinery is used – for example in processing, production, power transfer or conveying – from print to agriculture, precision converting to woodworking or packaging.

Elesa’s GN706.2 collars feature a half split design with single clamping bolt in sintered black oxide steel or AISI 316 sintered stainless steel with matching hex socket grub screw.

GN707.2 collars in the same materials are fully split in design to facilitate post fitment on shafts. Both versions are suited to h11 tolerance shafts and are available for shaft diameters from 6mm to 40mm. Further information regarding Elesa products may be found at: www.elesanow.co.uk.
