On the 24th of February after a considerable amount of deliberation we went live with communication Meetings Company wide. The process itself allows the opportunity for internal KPI’S, shop floor data capture, productivity measures, Health & safety awareness, Environmental improvement and above all else companywide communication with a clear escalation process.
Regular tiered meetings are a staple of any company’s lean management system. The quick stand-up meetings represent part of the daily accountability process which, when combined with leader standard work and visual controls, provide the foundation for sustaining gains, rigorously practicing lean behaviours, aligning the organization, and moving to daily kaizen. The meeting is an opportunity for our employees to reflect on the last 24 hours, anticipate the next 24 hours, and discuss issues, problems and opportunities. Already we have seen improvements throughout the company and we have observed everyone involved being proactive about there working environment.
