Important information :
We currently have suppliers for production runs of these parts but would like to forge a long term partnership with a supplier for regular prototypes. The prototypes made for product development are still made on manual machines. However, there isn't much machining in them and it seems there must be a way of making them more effectively with cnc.

We are looking for a partner to make small batches of parts, most often 4-10 parts at a time on a regular basis. Throughout the R&D process the parts would evolve with tweaks here and there, but basically maintain the same form.

To make it financially viable, set-up time would have to be kept to an absolute minimum, with the parts ideally being within the capability of the standard set-up of the machine(s). Alternatively, the relevant tools can be set-up and left specifically for the job. It may even be possible to remove a stage by avoiding using drawings and editing the G-code directly. So I could edit your G-code program directly, send it through for you to simulate and run.

In an ideal world it would just be case of mounting the right material, simulating, running and marking the part with an ID i.e. negligible set-up time.

We accept there may be compromises to be made but are interested if you think you can come close to providing this kind of service.

It is important to note that the drawings attached are the standard drawings that go to production. They give the form of the parts and an idea of tolerances. All parts would be a variation of these forms with smaller versions of these running down to a 15mm bore.

Material will be 7/8" Aluminium (either 6060 or free machining equivalent) Free issue

For quotation purposes, please quote for 3 off each of the components.
