Drawing Viewer Information

Qimtek receives RFQ drawings from buyers in a variety of different formats. These depend on the specific CAD package used by their designers and the nature of their business.
For the convenience of our members we convert all drawings to either Portable Document Format (.pdf) for 2D drawings or Stereo Lithography (.stl) for 3D objects. Free viewers for these formats are listed below.

However, we always distribute the original drawings too; the "native" viewer may let you measure dimensions, or see alternative views, layers or structural details that may be lost when converting to PDF or STL. Occasionally, projects include Microsoft Office files; Excel (.xls), Word (.doc) or PowerPoint (.ppt) as well as technical drawings. If you don't have Microsoft Office, free viewers are available here.

This table lists all the common RFQ drawing formats, with a link to a free viewer. Viewers are regularly updated as file formats evolve, so you should download the latest version if you have problems.
(Please note: other viewers may exist for each format. We are not endorsing the one listed here).
