Armed Forces award for Arlington Automotive

Arlington Automotive North East, the automotive parts manufacturer and supply chain consolidator, has received the bronze award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

The ERS is awarded to UK employers who support people who serve or have previously served in the Armed Forces and their families.

Arlington was recognised for its commitment and support for defence personnel following the company’s decision to integrate ex-servicemen and women into their workplace. Having formed a close allegiance with the Royal Engineer Reservists, Arlington now has five ex-servicemen working at its Newton Aycliffe facility.

Marke Franckle, CEO, Arlington Industries Group, said: “We are delighted to have been officially recognised by the ERS. The local Armed Forces mean a lot to Arlington and this award is testament to our belief in integrating local heroes and benefitting from their unique skills.”

“This is a great example of how comradeship can extend to the business world. The Royal Engineer Reservists hold a special place in the North East and we’re very proud to now count on some as our colleagues.”

Arlington Automotive is a division of Arlington Industries Group Limited, a UK based company that provides supply chain integration to global OEMs in aerospace and automotive market sectors.
