Process: Spray Painting

Spray painting uses a spray gun and compressed gas to ‘coat’ a surface - most commonly with paint, but sometimes with a varnish, primer, or stain. Spray painting is much more efficient than traditional painting techniques and allows a much larger surface area to be coated in a shorter time span. It also results in an evenly-distributed coating, with minimal waste due to overspray. A popular painting choice for a number of applications, spray painting is commonly used within the automotive industry, as well as construction, marine, furniture and industrial machinery.
