ERP software keeps track of your orders, our dedicated inspection department ensures your quality (ISO9001) and our own van delivers your goods giving them the care they require.
Our fabrication department is a busy fast turnaround area. Shearing, folding, punching and welding are just a few of the displines we cover. With some of the most skilled sheet metal workers and welders around, we are able to combine our efforts with our departments to create finished products to your specification.
CAD drawings are welcome in any format to aid production.
The services we offer are:
- 3 Metre Shearing
- Folding up to 3 Metres (CNC Amada 200 Ton Press)
- CNC Punching and Laser cutting.
- Circle Cutting 150mm to 1100mm
- TIG, MIG, Arc, Spot and Stud welding
- Welding on all types of material (Stainless Steel, Aluminium, mild steel, Copper, Brass, Titanium to name a few.)

- Grinding and finishing
The ancient skill of metal spinning has been around for hundreds of years and at AG Major's we have captured these skills in Hand Spinning, Hydraulic Spinning, and PNC Spinning since 1937. With our facilities we can spin shapes with straight, radius, angled, and stepped sides or a combination to produce your desired part.
While there are materials which lend themselves favourably to metal spinning, we are yet to find a material that we cannot work with. We have considerable experience in working with:
- Stainless Steels
Our metal spinning facilities are frequently used in conjunction with the other areas of our manufacturing facilites such as Fabrication, Welding, Assembly, Presswork, Machining and Finishing to create your finished part.
We pride ourselves in our presswork department. We have an extensive range of power, hydraulic, automatic and hand fed presses which are operated by highly skilled and experienced engineers. They handle pressings ranging from high precision complex pressings from 0.1mm in thickness to deep drawn pressings, including progressive tooling. All our presswork is manufactured to the highest technical standards and we take pride in the quality of our pressings.
In our machine section we have very knowledgeable and experienced staff capable of producing all types of work; from one off specials, to small and medium batch runs.
We are capable of light to medium machining, working in a wide range of materials from various mild, tool and stainless steels, non-ferrous and more exotic materials such as Monel, Kovar, Inconel, Titanium and even cast Nylons. With the introduction of a high spec CNC Mill and CNC Lathe we are now capable of doing small to medium batch work to a very high standard.
The services we offer are:
- CNC, Manual, and High Precision Turning
- CNC and Manual Milling
- Tool Making
A.G. Major Engineering Solutions works with and manufactures products for a variety of industries which require high standards of quality assurance and specifications to follow. These range from Aerospace to Medical, Transportation to bespoke garden furniture and everything in between. This work is carried out using many different processes & operations such as sheet metal work, welding, press work, metal spinning, and machining. During and at the end of these operations, the product is continuously monitored and inspected to insure that it conforms to the customers' requirements.
Types of inspections that we perform are:
- Operation Inspections
- First off Inspections
- Sample Inspections
- 100% Inspections
- FAIR Inspections (standard format is AS 9102:2006, others can be requested)
- DSQR Inspections
