Here at Alma Engineering we are proud to offer Precision Machining of the finest quality. We have a tradition of outstanding customer service, quality craftsmanship and on-time delivery. We are capable of producing your machined parts in Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Aluminium, Copper, even Plastics. When combined with our Fabricating and Welding services, you'll find us an invaluable turnkey source for all of your machining needs. Also with our broad network of high quality secondary "sources" for your finishing operations such as Plating, Heat treating and Specialty Painting, we make procuring complex assemblies a one-stop shop for all our customers. We use a range of traditional manual Mills & Lathes to CNC machines, along with recent investment on machine tools offering reduced set-up times coupled with high throughputs providing our customers with value for money solutions. Additional investment in off-line programming OneCNC software we can consistently produce high quality components and assemblies to meet the most exacting expectations combined with efficient processes so we can produce quality products at minimal costs for our customers.
We have our own 4Kw Laser able to Cut 12mm Stainless & 20mm Mild. Ideal for precise and intricate patterns on carbon and stainless steel sheet metal, plu many more materials.
Alma Engineering uses laser cutting as a fast, repeatable and highly accurate process to cut materials. Laser cutting is ideal for high production runs as it is cost effective and has a high degree of consistency and precision.
Ideal for removing impurities and deposits from your finished stainless steel surfaces and provide a uniform finish.
Bead blasting is the process of removing surface deposits by applying fine glass beads at a high pressure without damaging the surface. It is particularly used on Stainless Steel to achieve a Matt Finish and also helps with non-marking.
SHEET METAL FINISHING
The final finish is one of the most important elements of any manufactured product or structure. The Alma Engineering finishing department produces finishes of an extremely high standard and for companies all over the globe.
We only use the highest quality of abrasives and compounds, that are vigorously tested, to ensure a very high quality finish every time. We can create a very wide range of finishes from a very coarse grain all the way through to mirror finish. We can apply this to a full-size sheet and all manner of different fabricated parts.
