Hassells began approximately 40 years ago in mechanical and structural design engineering and over this period this aspect of the business has grown significantly, so that today we now provide services and products that are 90% mechanical-based.
We are a medium-sized engineering company, based in Staffordshire, with a current workforce of over 45 personnel.

The workshop is sited on a fully-fenced and very secure 1.6-hectare site. Hassell Engineering can provide the following range of services:

Fabrication and Machining
Hassell Engineering workshops are capable of carrying out a large range of fabrication jobs, from major contracts to minor work for small businesses.
The main workshop is made up of 2 main bays, with a separated shop for shot blasting. The work areas have good access and all are supported by gantry cranes. The following machinery is available in our workshops:

Process Equipment Manufacture
Hassell Engineering have significant site fabrication experience including process equipment and precision structural fabrications.
We have full in-house machining capabilities. The following precision machinery is available in our workshop:

Assembly & fitting service
Hassells Engineering have a full in-house shot blast facility.
With a 9.2m x 9.2m x 5.4m shot blast bay and lift capacity of 15 tonnes we can accommodate most items.
With this facility and a wide range of blast medias available we can prepare your products to whatever grit range finish you require.
Wet Spray Painting
Hassells Engineering have two fully operational Spray booths.
The larger one is 9m x 6.3m x 5.5m with a lift capacity of 15 tonnes this can accommodate a wide range of shapes and sizes.
We use an airless paint system to achieve the necessary paint requirements for the customer.
We regularly paint to ISO 12944 C5 M marine spec which gives a high quality finish and 5 – 15 years life span.
Our teams are fully aware of the demands of industrial maintenance, including the requirement to have plant repairs completed to a formal program and having to meet our clients’ deadlines and budgets.
Maintenance services can be provided for major shutdowns, regular operational maintenance, call-out maintenance or provision of a full contractor maintenance contract.
Hassell Engineering currently has a significant workforce on-site to provide an on-going service of mechanical fitting, welding, maintenance and project installations. This includes the supply of suitable supervision.

Directions - Leave the M6 at Junction 15
Go through the lights on the motorway exit and then proceed across the roundabout towards Stoke on the A500 Queensway (dual carriageway)
Take the next exit signposted Trentham, down the slip road and at the roundabout go right along the A34 Stone Road.
1 mile approx at the roundabout turn left into A5035 Longton Road
1 mile approx further, at the traffic lights turn right into Alderflat Drive, Newstead Industrial Estate Drive to the very top of the Estate where we are situated.
