Built at the cost of £160,000, this new amenity is designed to support customers through the life cycle of their TRUMPF machines – and beyond. The TruServices Centre is, first and foremost, a place where manufacturers can seek advice on all aspects of sheet metal processing. It provides a forum to consider all the elements that make a successful installation – best choice of process, tooling, software and automation. TRUMPF Financial Services is also housed here to provide a dedicated source of funding for the production world.
Not all production needs can be foreseen or financed at the time of machine purchase and, for this reason, most options can also be retrofitted at low cost later on. In this capacity, the TruServices Centre acts to provide continuous support for customers to ensure they achieve a lasting return on their investment.
Training both for machine operation and programming is, of course, another important part of the TruServices programme and the Centre provides the facilities for courses for beginners through to experts. The courses are modular, so elements can be freely combined to create tailored instruction to meet the customer’s precise needs.
