Core Helander activities involve manufacture of hard metallic components and sub-assemblies ranging from super alloy materials to steels and aluminium using conventional subtractive CNC ‘lights out’ manufacturing to provide value for money and reduced costs for our customers.

Helander currently manufactures components for the Airbus A3XX range alongside assemblies on the Lockheed Martin Defense program (JSF).

Helander has experience of machining and treatment of additively manufactured parts grown from inconel and titanium powders and has conducted successful machining trials in collaboration with GKN (Bristol) .
