Profile

ISO 9001 Approved Fabricators & Precision Engineers.

Manufacturing is at the heart of what we do, our fully qualified designers have also trained on the shop floor to ensure they have a wealth of knowledge both in manufacturing and designing to help understand the needs and demands of both clients and the engineering processes, resulting in a highly experienced and skilled workforce.

We use the latest technology to produce cutting edge design from CAD design to CNC machinery and finishing paintwork, aiming to be a ‘one stop shop’ from design, through manufacture, production to certification and delivery.

Our team are all dedicated to not just achieving, but exceeding. We strive to push the boundaries, reinvent and break ground with new procedures and with new technology, all of which not only makes us better, but makes us more cost effective, which ultimately means better value for you.

Certification is your quality guarantee

Certification and accreditation is a fundamental in our industry. It’s your peace of mind that we are serious about our levels and standards of quality excellence.

Combined with our ISO 9001 quality management system, CE Marking certification for structural steelwork against the requirements of EN 1090-1 clearly demonstrates our commitment to legal compliance, safety and product quality.

Services

General Engineering
This subject covers the whole spectrum of fabrication, and we pride ourselves in being masters in all areas. From the smallest bracket to full-size enclosures, we are equipped in both skills and facilities to design, manufacture and finish literally anything asked of us. With the ability to flat pack there is no size limit. We can also automate too for greater economy.

Our highly experienced and skilled engineers are based in areas within the shop floor from welding bays, machine areas for punching, pressing & folding to the finishing touches, powder-coating and painting. We have an extra large building for assembly of large structures such as enclosures to suit any size and requirement project.

All work is backed by our ISO 9001 quality management system, and once again, all structural steel is backed by our CE marking certification for structural steelworks against the requirements of EN 1090-1.

Good Design. Where it all starts.
Good design is essential and our design teams are expert at turning good ideas into great products. Using the latest CAD packages with Solid Works Premium in 3D, 2D or flat scale, we model our designs in order to achieve the most efficient products available. Working alongside our clients we offer a formal design process from the concept idea to the final manufactured product with full documented revision history.

We build valuable client relationships which aid in translating bespoke design objectives and requirements into exceptional end products that can be manufactured into custom built solutions.

All of our design and manufacturing conforms to our ISO 9001: UKAS Accredited Quality System ensuring quality and tracability throughout. We offer warranties with all of our products.

Acoustics. An area of expertise we don’t want to be quiet about
Bespoke design and manufacturing of your acoustic solutions down to the last decibel. We have decades of experience in this area and can boast a level of expertise second to none and pride ourselves in fulfilling the requirements of bespoke systems down to the last decibel. From entire enclosures to single items we can aid design and manufacture to meet the project needs. Our whole range of standard items include;

Enclosures, Weather Louvres, Attenuation, Acoustic Panels, Acoustic Louvres, Wall Lining Panels, Louvre & Panel Doors, Custom Air Conditioning Units, Duct Work, Acoustic Screens, Roof Ventilation Cowls.

Acoustics. To the initiated this quite simply means noise. In these times of health and safety consciousness, noise in the workplace, or excess noise anywhere for that matter is seen as not just a nuisance, but as as a real health issue, in terms of not just potential damage to ears, but in so many more ways, the general state of calmness of people in close proximity for instance – the stress of excessive noise is a very real contributor to ill health.

Solar Frames. Your solid foundation.
Our extensive experience in solar framing manufacturing covers all aspects of ground mounted solar frames. Our designs are born from painstaking research into not only product performance, but also into the full range of solutions to meet geotechnical challenges. Armed with this unique insight, we create not only ‘fit-for-purpose’ products, but products that achieve beyond our customer’s expectations.

We can tailor our no quibble warranty to suit you requirements and is our stamp of confidence in what we say.

At Corbin we pride ourselves in designing and manufacturing Solar Frames to suit every conceivable environment. Our designs are born out of painstaking research into the full range of challenges faced by frames once installed, and armed with this unique insight we create not only ‘fit-for-purpose’ frames, but frames designed and built to go way beyond that.

Enclosures
Our external weather proof enclosure are designed to suit an array of different applications, from protecting sensitive equipment to shielding switch gear. We work closely with our customers to ensure that our designs meet the criteria required to keep expensive equipment not only warm & dry, but to protect it from humidity and condensation, as well as safe and secure.

The commercial benefits of a purpose pre-fabricated enclosure, fully equipped off site prior to delivery, far outweigh costly on-site brick built buildings. Our ‘plug and play’ solutions dramatically reduce installation time on site. Our unique design enables connection of services to be made from outside the enclosure therefore minimising pedestrian traffic inside so that it can be limited commissioning personal only.

Finishing
The mark of any good product is how it stands up to the ravages of time. We endeavor to combat this force by finishing our products to the highest of specifications. We can offer in house powder coating and wet spray painting ensuring top quality finishes and a timely turnaround.  We work predominately with mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.

We work in a number of materials in particularly aluminium and galvanized steel and can powder coat to any standard RAL or BS number. We have the ability to apply a range of additional finishes if required, from plating, anodizing and polishing.

We strongly believe in the finish not only making for an aesthetically pleasing result, but that it serves a valuable part in the life of a product.

Powder coating is applied using an electrostatic gun, imparting a positive electric charge to the powder. This is sprayed onto the object from compressed air, then heated in the oven where the powder melts to give a uniform coating and then cooled to form a hard coating.

The benefits of powder coating; Emits near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), produces a thicker coating without and running or sagging, uses less hazardous waste, smoother finish, special effects, cost effective.

Hi-Tech Resourcing Ltd - Sheet metal fabricators based in Dorset

24 May 2016 by Hi-Tech Resourcing Ltd

Hi-Tech Resourcing joined the Qimtek membership back in 2014 on a regional basis. They have since become extremely successful members, winning over £190,000 worth of initial orders from only 5 separate buyers.

Project manager, Julie Fanneran, particularly enjoys the customer service she receives from her very own, dedicated sourcing adviser – “Jackie is always helpful and goes that little bit further.” She also enjoys the ability to receive active jobs that connect her directly with manufacturing buyers, which helps bridge the gap when they have spare capacity.
