Profile

AS 9100 & ISO 9001 Approved Machining Specialists, Isle of Man

Kiartys Engineering takes its name from the Manx Gaelic word for precise, exact and true, and this is reflected in our mission and our approach. As suppliers of high precision engineered components, we specialise in low to high volume components, complying to exacting specifications, delivered on time. Kiartys Engineering was formed through the merger of Kiartys and Manx Engineers.

Both of these companies hold a wealth of experience and knowledge in precision engineering which form the foundations of Kiartys Engineering. We are proud to be considered one of the leading suppliers of precision machined parts in the UK and its British Isles.

Continued investment in the latest CNC technology across our two sites, when coupled with the highest quality standards, has seen Kiartys Engineering evolve as a key supplier to major companies ranging from world-renowned aero-engine builders to manufacturers of advanced performance cars.

Services

MILL TURNING
We use Mazak SQT and Mazak Nexus Twin Spindle, multi-axis machines. This enables the machining of high precision, complex components in one operation so cuts machining time and cost.

SLIDING HEAD TURNING
Our Citizen multi-axis machines are highly accurate. They utilise driven tooling, sub-spindle machining and automatic bar feeding.

CNC MILLING
Along with two Mikron 5-Axis machines, we also have Okuma, Enshu and Kiwa 4 axis CNC machines. These are complemented by a Mitutoyo CMM and a Pathtrace CAM system to ensure that all orders are quickly engineered and passed to the shop floor for machining.

GRINDING
HONING

EDM MACHINING
We offer both wire erosion and spark erosion to best fit our customers' needs.

CAD-CAM
Modern CAD-CAM systems have been installed and networked to machine controls.
Edge CAM CNC machining.
PEPS CAD CAM wire-erosion.
We can accept the following file types: DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL, PARASOLID.

INSPECTION
All inspection is carried out in a temperature controlled environment

PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT
Our abilities as a sub-contract prototype development specialist have helped customers translate ideas into reality, across a broad range of industrial sectors. Initial development and prototyping work is often followed by full project involvement, through pre-production to small volume manufacturing in a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steels, titanium and advanced plastics.

Versatility and experience within the company is wide-ranging and, coupled with the on-going investment in advance manufacturing technologies, they ensure that Kiartys Engineering’s customer base has access to a total resource for product development and high precision engineering.
