Back in March the Prime Minister asked manufacturers to help the UK in the manufacture of ventilators needed to help save lives during the coronavirus pandemic. Rotec was proud and honoured to be able to play its part as a sub-contractor for critical parts.
Working as one of many suppliers in the national efforts for the Ventilator Challenge UK, we were happy to be able to do our part. It came as a complete, but nice surprise when we received this certificate and a letter thanking us for our support in the effort.
July 2020 - take a look at whats been happening at Rotec Engineering in our latest Vlog https://youtu.be/YePFs4qoAss
Watch our latest video https://youtu.be/1CSb0UGX2dQ showing how Rotec has dealt with the last 3 months. From ventilator & medical parts, new machines and our focus for the future.
Rotec Engineering welcomes the arrival of a new Nakamura Tome MX-100 twin spindle bottom turret lathe with a full 5 axis milling head.
The new machine has been setup over Easter weekend and is now operational and ready for making critical medical components for ventilators.
Watch the arrival and MD Paul Butler https://youtu.be/HGl3ePJi8JE
We also like to thank everyone involved who pulled out all the stops and got it operational so quickly.
We would like to advise you that Rotec Engineering Limited and our manufacturing facilities are currentlyopen and trading as normal.
Rotec Engineering are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are following government guidance and advice.

Over the last few months we have acquired several new machines arrive to assist in our Milling and Sliding Head sections. This has freed up capacity across certain areas, especially up to 20mm dia Sliding Head machined parts and our Fixed Head department.
Where has the time gone …
We are half way through 2019 already.Due to the increase in production and sales not only has our workforce increased but so have our machining capabilities, with the introduction of several new machines, which has enabled us to reduce our lead times.
Our current machining lead times
- Sliding Head (SR machines) 5 - 7 working days
- Sliding Head (SV machines) 12 -14 working days
- Turning and Milling 7- 10 working days
Get your orders in, before year end...
April's Machining Lead Times:-
- Slidinghead 12-14 working days

Five-axis turning and new CADCAM software have reduced setup times and allow ‘lights-out’ production at Evesham-based Rotec.
The company, which supplies components to the aerospace, automotive and oil and gas sectors using advanced fixed and sliding head turning, has just installed a new Nakamura NTRX 300 supplied by the Engineering Technology Group (ETG), building on a long-term relationship with the machine tool supplier.
… We must have been on the good list this year…
Rotec has just taken delivery of a New Star SR-20JII Type B and Bar Feed. Offering increased rigidity, accuracy and versatility through a combination of improved engineering and expanded functionality.
Combining a 6-tool turning platen with a 5-spindle cross drilling unit and an 8-spindle back working tool post, the SR-20JII boasts impressive tooling capacity allowing for a huge range of machining options.
Can’t wait to set up and get this operational, question is whose job will be first this coming January?
We have got the Vlogging bug...
In March 2018 we published our first vlog featuring the charismatic Paul Butler (MD), who takes the viewer on a guided tour of the new state of the art Advance Manufacturing Centre. Paul's passion for the new build and engineering is inspiring.
The success and support received was over whelming, the first vlog gained a whopping 7,337 views. Due to the popularity and positive feedback it was decided that the Vlog would become a regular feature.
Due to recent expansion and growth, Rotec Engineering are looking to grow our team and are currently recruiting for a CNC Sliding Head Programmer/Setter.
Rotec has machining capacity available this July and August on our Milling and Turning Department.
Why not put us to the test with your requirements and see how competitive we can be.
