CAD Design Service- Whether it's bringing your design to life or starting an assembly from the beginning, our in house Design Engineers will work with you and discuss any specifications and requirements you need. We will offer advise and send you drawing packs to approve. We use Solidworks and Tekla to assist with your project.

Turnkey Solutions - We always strive to provide complete solutions for our customers, from CAD to production to finishing. But we don't stop there. Should your project require something outside our normal remit, we will arrange to have one of our trusted partners help, or put you in contact with the right person from our tried and tested list of experts. .

Equipment

Laser Profiling - Laser profiling allows great flexibility in manufacturing complex shapes from a variety of materials, quickly and accurately. Our 10kW Bystronic Bystar Fiber 3015 laser provides cost efficient sheet metal profiling by utilising fibre laser technology. We can cut a variety of thicknesses ranging from 0.9mm - 30mm

Press Brake - With our Amada HFE M2 1703 CNC Press Brake, we can introduce folded features into your sheet metal parts, allowing you the option to reduce the part count in your fabrications. We utilise a custom calibrated gauge allowance table for SolidWorks, these services are available on request.

CE Welding - South West Engineering and Fabrications welders are fully certified to conduct CE marking and can provide traceability.

Plasma Profiling - Plasma profiling is for parts that are too thick for our laser, over 25mm. Plasma cutting offers the same high quality capabilities of the laser.

Guillotine Cutting - Our metalwork guillotine operates by a clamp securing the sheet of material. Similar to the action of scissors, the blade shears the material, starting at one side of the sheet. Our hydraulic 15kW guillotine provides a precise high powered and efficient service. Precision – the back gauge with an adjustable range of 1,000 mm, and modern CNC control with touch screen ensures accuracy for our customers sheet metal fabrications.
