Established for over 30 years, the company has a wealth of experience and expertise in precision machining. 

The impressive array of equipment in our Cambridgeshire factory includes the latest 5 Axis machine tools and industry PowerMill 3D CAD/CAM (Computer-aided design and manufacture) software, supported by an internal Inspection Department. 

We have recently expanded our CNC facilities and now have four 5 axis machines, bringing the total number of machines to fifteen. Our continued investment in the latest plant technology and precision machinery has been a determining factor in our steady growth, supported by a commitment to achieving the highest standard of quality.

Stonehill Engineering offers a complete component production process to turn concepts into reality with the ability to produce one-off prototypes or carry out full batch production. We are able to deliver complex components with incredible accuracy and finish, providing a fast turnaround at a competitive price.

We have an expert team of engineers, CNC programmers and operators and are proud of our highly successful Apprenticeship Programme, designed to mentor and develop tomorrow’s engineers.

The projects we work on vary widely from the creation of a neck tool for Crash Test Dummies to machining a swing arm for a British-built motorcycle!
