Destined for end use within the telecommunications industry, this fluted tip is to be made from H13 tool steel using high precision machining and wire erosion techniques. The client, a company that spends over £100k per year across all outsourced services, has advised that the ideal supplier will be able to complete all aspects of this work in full. This will be an ongoing requirement with similar work available once a relationship is established.

As soon as the supplier is chosen, initial samples will be required before the first order is placed. This is a fantastic opportunity to win regular, high volume work over a long time period from a large communications company. IMPORTANT: There is a non-disclosure agreement running with this enquiry. Casting-Sand Casting

This company requires quotes for 1488 off sets of cast spheres, which will be connected to pipework and used to hold fibre-optic cables on overhead power lines. The client has confirmed that the casting method is not critical and therefore, they are open to exploring the possibility of alternative casting methods. The accuracy of the diameter of where the pipes are attached is extremely important; it must be no larger than Ø 34.7mm when assembled. Good value pricing is also a high priority for this enquiry. The company holds the pattern which will be free-issued to the chosen supplier. Once cast, these spheres are then assembled using 16 off cap head screws. Please confirm within your quote if you are able to assemble these spheres or if you are to provide the cast half-pieces only. This is just one project out of a large quantity that the buyer outsources, meaning there is scope for the chosen supplier to win additional work once a relationship has been cultivated.
