  1. Drawings count: 1

    Fabrication-Fabrication with Machining

This project is compiled of several parts which - when assembled - will create a chainsaw guard. There are many fabrication and machining processes required to manufacture this full request - the client has also confirmed that if welding capabilities are not available, the supplier is to state this within their quotation, as the client can weld the parts together if needed. The client is over capacity and therefore, they are looking for a new supplier to manufacture these components on their behalf. The ideal supplier will be able to manufacture these designs economically with a quality finish, within a 3-4 week lead time. This will lead to ongoing work, once the initial request of 10 off assemblies is completed.

  2. Drawings count: 1

    Machining-Machining, Large 1m Plus

This client is looking for a new supplier to manufacture the attached pre-splined centre pinion. The pinion is to be peeled, stress-relieved, then ground to a high tolerance finish. The client welcomes quotes using all of these processes, but if not all processes can be completed, suppliers are still invited to quote and confirm which of these processes are included. Once the first 3 off pinions at 3000mm are completed and signed off, this can lead to ongoing work of approximately 30 off per year. ADDITIONAL: The client has confirmed they are happy to accept smaller lengths of 10 off at 1150mm lengths instead of 3 off at 3000mm lengths. Please confirm the length you are submitting within your quote.

  3. Drawings count: 16

Sheet Metal Forming-General Sheet Metal (2mm to 6mm)

This manufacturer of projectors and custom lighting, who spends £200,000 on outsourced fabrication, is looking for quotes from possible UK-based suppliers of the attached cut and welded carbon steel parts. Currently, this is a one-off requirement, but it may lead to additional work for chosen supplier involving future pre-production orders of similar quantities.

  4. Drawings count: 1

    Fabrication-Light Fabrication (under a tonne)

This manufacturer of high-end autosports vehicles requires a new supplier for the attached roll bar assembly. There is an immediate order to place for this enquiry, which involves aspects of cutting, bending and welding. The client will place regular orders for this work following the initial batch, meaning that the chosen supplier wins not only the job in question, but also a new long-term supplier.

  5. Drawings count: 1

    Machining-Turning, Low Volume

This client is looking for a new supplier to turn the attached locking pins, plates and bushes. Free-issue material can be supplied if required, and the client invites quotes with and/or without the use of free-issue material. A high-quality result is sought, with a fast delivery also highly desirable.

    Machining-CNC Machining, Low Volume

Outsourcing machining work to the tune of £100,000 every year, this company is currently seeking a supplier who can manufacture the attached range of steel and free-issued iron components. These are split over two different sets, with required quantities ranging from 1 off to 12 off. The buyer has an order ready to place for production of these designs and is looking to increase their supplier base moving forward. Those that are interested in being considered for this job are asked to make contact with the buyer directly to discuss; in addition, this could result in further opportunities once quality and reliability have been proven.
