    Machining-Machining, High Precision

A leading manufacturer of high-performance electromechanical components, who is a new buyer to Qimtek, seeks a new supplier for the attached ceramic bobbin. Quality and reliable delivery are critical considerations for this enquiry and once a relationship is established, there is scope for repeatable and similar work to be awarded going forward. The buyer is quoting for the order themselves - once their tender is successful, there will be an order to place with the chosen supplier.

  2. Drawings count: 6

    Machining-CNC Machining, Medium Volume

Destined for use within immersion heaters, a new supplier is required for this array of ceramic components. The client places over £100,000 worth of work with subcontract engineering suppliers annually and seeks responses from Qimtek members with whom they can build a relationship. 500 off of each design will be required per year, with delivery of the initial batch needed early November.

  3. Drawings count: 3

    Machining-Turning, Low Volume

Quotes are currently sought for machined furniture feet, to be turned from a combination of aluminium and brass. The client is looking to build a relationship with the chosen supplier for ongoing production of these items and has an immediate order to place. Those that would like to be considered for this opportunity are asked to make contact with the buyer directly to discuss.

  4. Drawings count: 1

    Casting-Die Casting, Gravity

This manufacturer from the electronics industry is looking to increase their supplier base for the production of an insulator. This item is to be gravity die cast from porcelain in large annual quantities, and the buyer is keen to hear from Qimtek members who have the capabilities to undertake this type of work. This company spends over £1million on their annual subcontract requirements, paving the way for the chosen supplier to build the relationship moving forward.
