    Profiling-Plasma Cutting

This company has an annual spend of over £500,000 on bespoke fabricated designs and has an order to place for the attached aluminium mount plates. These will be used for mounting pneumatic equipment within industrial machinery, in a factory environment. These plates are usually made in-house but due to a capacity issue, the buyer is currently looking for an external supplier. Quotes are sought for 20 off, with scope for ongoing and similar work to be made available once the initial enquiry is complete. Reliable delivery is of the most importance within this enquiry, with pricing and quality also being key.

    Profiling-Plasma Cutting

This new client is looking for a supplier to profile UK maps from fine limit sheet metal, ranging from 0.5mm to 1mm thick, which will be finished in-house and used to create personalised gifts on sale to the general public. Pricing is vitally important, and the client is very happy to work with the chosen supplier to discuss the most suitable process to use, whether that's plasma or water jet cutting or another process; the best material to use, as well as the material thickness to get the best result. An initial order will be placed for 1 off, with a view to placing an order of approximately 30 off once the initial sample has been tested, with more orders to be placed on an ongoing basis should the end product sell well.

    Profiling-Plasma Cutting

This construction and lifting equipment manufacturer is currently quoting for a 500kg roller weight - a legacy part which they used to make completely in-house. However, the buyer would now like to hear from external suppliers who can complete the profiling aspect on their behalf. Although there is no immediate order to place, the client will move forward once their tender is successful. This will be a one-off requirement, although it may lead to additional enquiries of a similar nature in future.
