  1. Drawings count: 3

    Design & Development-Design, CAD

The CAD design of a spring and accompanying assembly components is needed, on behalf of a company that spends a massive £2million a year on bespoke parts. Their in-house designer is on leave and is therefore unable to undertake the work in question; subsequently, they are looking to speak with Qimtek members who can produce these designs urgently. The parts will be free-issued to the successful supplier for reference purposes; please note that the material is now being updated from stainless steel to titanium. Interested suppliers are asked to make contact with the buyer at their earliest convenience.

  2. Drawings count: 2

    Design & Development-Design, CAD

In order to resolve a safety issue, this company requires a mild steel fabrication to be CAD designed for end use within in-house machinery. The client would like to make a system which allows the machine's eyelet boards and tension rollers to move via a worm gear and two gearboxes. They have included sketches of what is proposed and would like to hear from interested companies as soon as possible.

  3. Drawings count: 0

    Design & Development-Design, CAD

This company spends over £300,000 a year on outsourced engineering processes. They currently seek a supplier that is able to offer design services for a custom product, featuring both fabrication and machining details. This will include the CAD design of a mild steel frame and a series of stainless steel bars. The buyer has an immediate order to place for the work in question and has also advised that similar work may be extended to the chosen vendor moving forward.

  4. Drawings count: 0

    Design & Development-Design, CAD

This autosports company is keen to hear from suppliers that are able to offer 3D CAD drawings/files for a range of precision components. Although there is no NDA required at this stage, the successful supplier will be required to sign such a document before being provided with the applicable parts/details. Those that are interested in being considered for this opportunity should make contact with the buyer directly to discuss.

  5. Drawings count: 2

    Design & Development-Design, CAD

This company spends over £185,000 a year across all subcontract manufacturing processes. They currently require the assistance of a supplier that can provide CAD/PDF drawings for a range of fabricated and machined parts. The client will provide these items on a free-issue basis and the successful vendor will be required to produce designs for each item. Ideally, they would like to partner with a supplier that is able to facilitate their manufacture once the design aspect has been carried out.
