    Plastic & Rubber-GRP Moulding

This automotive exhaust systems manufacturer, who spends approximately £30,000 each year on fabrication requirements, is bidding to win a contract for an ongoing system. Part of this requirement is for carbon fibre tubes/sleeves; as such, a supplier is required for these components. Although there is no immediate order to place, if the buyer is successful in their tender, this requirement will be ongoing/repeated, although the frequency is not known at this stage.

  2. Drawings count: 2

    Plastic & Rubber-GRP Moulding

This client currently seeks the assistance of a fibreglass supplier who is able to produce the attached bin design. This design replaces a clay pot design that needs to be modernised, with the addition of a pedal mechanism. There is an immediate order to place for this enquiry, with the possibility of additional opportunities moving forward.

  3. Drawings count: 2

    Plastic & Rubber-GRP Moulding

This company specialises in boat and yacht exhausts for the marine industry and is looking for a supplier to mould lift silencers which will be used with the exhaust system. Tooling is also required. There are a few sizes of these components; however, quotes are required for a basic size as shown, with scope for small size variances later. Quotes are required for 500 off per year, which will most likely be ordered in regular call offs of 100 off. Pricing and quality/accuracy to drawings is vital for this enquiry and once a supplier is found, there will be additional opportunity for increased volumes in the future.

  4. Drawings count: 3

    Plastic & Rubber-GRP Moulding

This client, a manufacturer of bespoke optical equipment, seeks a supplier to produce the attached fiberglass planters. These are destined for an outdoor application; as such, they must be provided with a durable matte finish inside and out. The client's current supplier is unable to manufacture these items to the standard required and therefore, the buyer is keen to hear from those who are capable of undertaking this project. Suppliers able to offer competitive pricing, whilst maintaining high quality and reliable lead times, will be seen favourably.

  5. Drawings count: 2

    Plastic & Rubber-GRP Moulding

Currently made in China, these GRP moulded handrail parts have undergone a redesign and the client is looking for a new supplier with the expertise to make these within the UK going forward. The attached solidworks drawing shows just one of the 17 items in the range, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a new client on a long-term basis across several products. The other items in the range will be of a similar size, but slightly different shapes to the drawing as shown in the JPEG attachment. Quotes are required for 50 off and 100 off of the handrail part depicted in the Solidworks drawing initially; however, once the supplier has been chosen, this will lead to orders of all of the other parts in addition, when the client is ready to place an order.

  6. Drawings count: 3

    Plastic & Rubber-GRP Moulding

This start-up company is currently seeking a supplier who can manufacture the attached hyperloop pod fibreglass shell. The buyer has an order ready to place for its production and is open to suggestions for the overall thickness and sizing of the shell. Those that are interested in being considered for this job are asked to make contact with the buyer directly to discuss. The ideal supplier will be able to produce these parts economically and provide a high-quality end product. Delivery on time is also important for this request. Once a relationship has been established, further projects could be made available in addition to this initial requirement.
