    Finishing-Wet painting

The scientific testing centre at the University of Liverpool has undertaken a new photolysis (separation of molecules by light) project and are in need of a supplier who can assist them by applying an opaque coat to a high volume of free-issued test vials. This coating is to absorb all visible light (example photos attached) and would ideally block UV rays as well, thus protecting the contained substance from exterior light, which interferes with test results. This is a one-off requirement with an immediate order to place and therefore, interested suppliers are asked to make contact at their earliest convenience.

  2. Drawings count: 1

    Sheet Metal Forming-Presswork

Destined for end use within a dental application, over 2 million off of the attached strip will be ordered per year. The company behind this enquiry spends £30,000 a year on subcontract fabrication processes. They have an immediate order to place with a supplier who can offer quality and accuracy, resulting in an end product with straight edges and free of burrs. Those that would like to be considered for this opportunity are asked to make contact with the buyer directly to discuss.

  3. Drawings count: 1

    Machining-Machining, Plastics

Required as part of a larger scientific project, the attached test tube holder is to be machined from black or grey PVC. A high level of quality is essential, whilst good value is also important. There is an immediate order to place for 200 off and interested vendors are asked to make contact with the buyer directly in order to be considered.

  4. Drawings count: 3

    Machining-Machining, Prototyping

Required as part of a larger robotics project, the attached spacer is to be machined from aluminium. It will angle a gripper within an arm and must be produced as per the attached drawing. Accuracy and precision are extremely important within this project, with delivery required as soon as possible.

  5. Drawings count: 1

    Fabrication-Tube Bending & Manipulation

Suppliers that are able to bend square tube as per the drawing provided are sought, by a healthcare company that outsources in excess of £100,000 worth of fabrication work every year. They would like to partner with a supplier that can assist on a long-term basis, as estimates predict that 200 off of this item will be required every month. Delivery of the initial batch is required as soon as possible, making this project an excellent fit with those that are looking to fill immediate capacity, as well as supplementing their existing customer portfolio.

  6. Drawings count: 1

    Machining-CNC Machining, High Volume

Destined for use within the medical/scientific industry, the attached spring coil will be ordered at a rate of 2000 off per year. The company behind this enquiry has previously sourced this component from overseas, but now they are looking to add a UK company to their supplier base. The spring coil is to be manufactured from stainless steel in accordance with the drawing provided. As the buyer spends over £55,000 a year in the subcontract machining market, additional opportunities could also be made available once a relationship has been cultivated.
