The British Drilling and Freezing Company Ltd joined Qimtek back in 2013 to expand their existing customer base, and to utilize their large machining capacity. They have to date, secured over £70,000 worth of initial order value, and continue to build lasting relationships with buyers who provide them with repeat work.
During their membership, Kevin McCabe – Works Manager at British Drilling and Freezing was contacted by a member of Qimtek staff, who pointed them towards a company in their local area. Since then, they have successfully built a partnership, and have received in the region of £60,000 worth of business direct. When asked what advice he could give to other members, Kevin said “Be honest about your quoting, don’t go cheap just to get a job, do a good job, on time, and the rest will follow.”
Kevin was also kind enough to give some advice for potential members: “Start with your local area, and expand the membership as your business grows.” – This is exactly what the British Drilling and Freezing Company did, and it has proved to be a rewarding accomplishment.
