Process: Machining, High Precision

Overview

High precision machining is general term for processes in which components with very fine tolerances are manufactured.

Some workshops specialize in high precision components, for example high precision milling and turning. This can be done by using special machines, but sometimes regular machines are used and the component is grinded to acheive great tolerances.

There are workshops which do high precision machining that do small parts, but also workshops that do large components with high precision.
