Congratulations to the Nylacast team members who have recently completed an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Management course with Leicester College.
Held at the Thurmaston Nylacast site in Leicester, the course was attended and successfully completed by staff from a range of areas within the company. Richard Metcalf, Sonia Dehal, Stewart Smith, Nick Green, Phil Corbett, Junaid Makda, Julian Eaton and Colin Brown all successfully completed the in-house training course over the two year period.
Nylacast aim to provide opportunities in order to increase their employees' knowledge, skills and ability within the company, through training and development programmes such as this. Ian Mallabone, HR Manager, commented 'This programme has been very beneficial to both the individuals and the company. Nylacast is committed to continuously developing our most valuable assests; our people.' To further this successful training and aim of continuous improvement, a group of Nylacast team leaders are now embarking on an ILM Level 2 in Team Leading NVQ course.
