Advanced Engineering – Bio-mineral composite

LeTugrance is unveiling a 4-in-1 bio-mineral composite panel in the Innovations Gallery at Advanced Engineering 2026

Exhibiting on Stand G155e, the company will demonstrate an ultra-lightweight structural material engineered to replace materials such as heavy petrochemical plastics across aerospace, eVTOL, and luxury automotive interiors.

Conventional lightweight cabin linings rely heavily on non-porous petrochemical polymers. During cruise-to-descent transitions, these cold-soaked polymer skins generate severe internal condensation ("cabin rain"), forcing aircraft and EV manufacturers to carry tens of kilograms of secondary desiccant hardware, acoustic blankets, and heating harnesses.

LeTugrance resolves this systemic penalty through a single ambient-cured mineral composite architecture weighing just ~4.5 kg/m².

The 4-in-1 monolithic structure directly integrates:

● Passive NVH Acoustic Damping: Converts shear strain into micro-thermal dissipation (loss factor η = 0.060–0.090 per ASTM E756), eliminating 15–20 kg of secondary deadweight per vehicle cabin.

● Low-Voltage Active Thermal Barrier: Embedded carbonaceous interlayers powered by a touch-safe 5V–48V DC feed maintain cabin surfaces above the dew point using a low-power 16.7% active pulse cycle, cutting auxiliary energy draw by up to 70%.

● Intrinsic FST Fire Containment: Self-extinguishes in under 8 seconds with zero toxic halogen outgassing and zero flaming droplets, engineered for compliance with FAR 25.853 (60 s vertical burn).

● Zero-VOC & 100% Closed-Loop Circularity: Emits 0.0 mg/m³ VOCs into cabin air and undergoes non-chemical mechanical pulverisation at end-of-life to be remilled directly into next-generation composite core fillers.

"True flight and vehicle efficiency stems from holistic systems reduction rather than chasing fractions of a gram in isolated plastics," says Liudmila Tuchkova, Founder & Material Architect at LeTugrance. "By uniting structural permanence, low-voltage heating, and acoustic damping into a single zero-landfill mineral matrix, we give engineers a Class-A finish without the parasitic weight."
