With entries in all of the categories for the Best of British Casting Awards 2022, the castings industry is coming together to celebrate the achievements of Cast Metals Federation Members at the industry’s Awards Dinner.

Pam Murrell FICME, CMF CEO explains, “It is going to be a real challenge for the judges to pick the winners from this year’s entries in our three categories, Company of the Year, Award for Innovation and the Best Component Award.  It’s clear that our members have been involved in some great projects over the last couple of years, supplying highly engineered parts for so many sectors both here in the UK and internationally, and there is much to admire in all of the entries.

The Dinner is taking place on the 17th November 2022 at the Drayton Manor Hotel, which is a new venue for the CMF.  “We are confident that the location we have booked will be ideal for the dinner – there is plenty of space for our guests in the main banqueting suite, as well as on-site accommodation and parking, plus the site is readily accessible from the midlands motorway network and close to local railway stations and bus routes”, explains Pam.

“We are also really grateful to all of our foundry sponsors, Alucast Ltd, Castings plc, Dean Group International Ltd, Lestercast Ltd and Weir Minerals Europe Ltd, as well as key suppliers to the industry, Fuchs Lubricants (UK) plc, John Winter & Co Ltd, Omega Sinto Foundry Machinery Ltd, Petrofer UK Ltd, Red Wing UK, Towergate Insurance and voxeljet UK as well as our platinum sponsor, LG Energy whose support with help us to ensure we have a fantastic night.  After an absence of two years it will be great to be back together in number.” she added.
