Grenville Engineering reports that it has entered 2026 in a strong position, following a year in which earlier capital investment translated into increased output, broader capability, and improved workflow efficiency across its manufacturing operations.
In 2025, the Stoke-on-Trent-based manufacturer produced and supplied over 67,000 components, supporting both repeat production and bespoke fabrication projects. This output reflects not only capacity but also the effectiveness of an integrated manufacturing model combining design support, laser cutting, forming, machining, welding, and assembly under one roof.
Last year marked a period where recent investment began delivering measurable operational benefits. High-power 12Kw laser cutting capability enabled faster processing of thicker materials and greater flexibility across job types, while expanded CNC machining capacity allowed more secondary operations to be completed in-house. Together, these developments improved process control, reduced lead times, and supported a wider range of customer requirements.
Bespoke fabrication continued to form a significant proportion of the company’s workload, often requiring early engineering involvement and close collaboration between departments. Grenville’s ability to combine practical shopfloor experience with engineering knowledge has remained central to delivering robust, application-specific solutions for demanding environments.
Commenting on the past year, Stuart Rawlinson, Sales Director, said: “The focus has been on making sure our investments deliver real value on the shopfloor. Strengthening our full fabrication capability has allowed us to improve consistency, responsiveness, and overall project delivery for customers.”
The company continued to support a diverse customer base, with strong activity across earthmoving, petrochemical, renewable energy, medical, and site services sectors. This breadth highlights the adaptability of its fabrication and machining capability.
Momentum has carried into the start of 2026, supported by a healthy order on the system and continued customer confidence. Grenville will mark its tenth year exhibiting at Subcon at NEC Birmingham in June, using the event to engage with existing and potential customers and discuss future project requirements.
