The Subcontratación international subcontracting trade event will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 1 to 3 June 2021.
This important business forum is an event not to be missed by subcontractor SMEs looking to find new contacts, improve and extend their business model, and keep on evolving. The event, which will be in its 20th year, has become the only trade show in Spain for manufacturing processes and equipment that is designed for subcontractor SMEs. It is also a benchmark platform within the advanced manufacturing framework.
The exhibiting area of Subcontratación 2021 will feature companies working in manufacturing processes including foundry, machining, moulding, prototypes and mould and die making, to name a few; as well as companies specialised in equipment and machinery for foundry, welding, iron and steel, forging and surface treatment.
A wide range of companies will be present, showcasing from the most essential processes to the most advanced technologies, including complete manufacturing processes.
This specialised offer will mainly attract international visitors from industries such as automotive, aeronautics, machine tool, iron and steel, naval, oil, energy, railway and capital goods. Subcontratación is aimed at directors, purchasing managers, subcontracting managers, project managers/directors, production managers/directors and qualified technicians from manufacturing companies in a wide range of sectors who are interested in discovering new markets and reaching new clients.
In 2021 the event will keep the same format, combining an exhibiting area with large B2B meetings. In this context, one of the highlights of the event will be the chance to take part in the 19th European Subcontracting Meeting, which is organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, with the collaboration of the Spanish Network of Subcontracting. At the previous event in 2019, more than 1,000 interviews were held with purchasers from countries like Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Morocco and Serbia, enabling exhibitors and visitors to establish high quality relationships and reach specific business agreements.
Subcontratación will take place in the framework of the umbrella +Industry group of collocated events. This will allow new synergies to be generated within the fair and with six other important industrial events.
These events taking place simultaneously with Subcontratación 2021 include: ADDIT3D, International Trade Shown on Additive and 3D Manufacturing; INDUSTRY TOOLS by Ferroforma, International Industry Tools and Supplies Fair; BeDIGITAL, a forum exclusively focused on the industrial application of digital technologies; FITMAQ, International Fair of Bargain & Used Machinery; MAINTENANCE, Industrial Maintenance Fair; and PUMPS & VALVES, International Trade Show for Pump Systems, Valves and Equipment for Industrial Processes.
With these seven events being held in the same place, Bilbao Exhibition Centre will become the largest meeting point for Smart Manufacturing in Spain, where highly specialised visitors will find over 1,300 exhibiting companies from all over the world.
