AIDA software from Codel is helping UK companies move their business toward Industry 4.0.

Codel is a leading SAP-connected Manufacturing Execution Software firm from South East Europe, and its AIDA software system captures and analyses data flowing between manufacturing processes and ERP systems such as SAP.

This supports manufacturers’ move to Industry 4.0 approaches by providing a modular technology that helps obtain real-time data across the production process covering materials, semi-finished and finished goods.

The system’s ability to connect to manufacturing machinery and transmit data allows companies to improve different parts of the overall supply chain and delivery of final products.

Codel’s customisable and scalable AIDA system is used by major manufacturers including British American Tobacco to improve product serialisation and labelling in line with EU regulations and, by electronics producer TDK, to introduce quality control and fault tracking on packaging lines.

Founder and Managing  Director Marijan Sever said: "As the home of the first Industrial Revolution, I am delighted with the response from production firms seeking to reap the benefits of IR4.0 here in the UK".

Codel's expert engineers and consultants are offering free 1 day diagnostic services to Production Managers until June 2019 for those wanting to talk IR4.0 (be it IIOT, Digitalisation, Automotation, or Big Data)

Codel recently became an approved MadeSmarter.uk tech supplier – meaning its SME clients in the North West UK can receive up to 50% / £100k grant support towards eligible IR4 projects.
