Metal fabrication specialist Tadweld has seen revenue surge by 40% and has added its 50th employee despite challenging market conditions.

“Welcoming our 50th team member is a proud moment for us and reflects a 30% increase in staff over the past year,” Houston said. “This growth is a testament to the hard work of our entire team and the positive response from our clients.”
Tadweld’s client list features major blue-chip companies such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Britvic, Yorkshire Water, Balfour Beatty, and Sutcliffe Construction. The company provides engineering and fabrication solutions across sectors including Food & Drink, Power & Energy, and Utilities & Infrastructure.
A key factor in Tadweld’s resilience has been its investment in people and training. In 2024 alone, the firm dedicated more than 2,500 hours to staff development, focusing on safety, compliance, and skill advancement. This commitment ensures Tadweld’s workforce remains at the forefront of industry standards while nurturing the next generation of engineers.
Looking to the future, Tadweld has invested over £500,000 in capital equipment in the past 12 months. Recent acquisitions include two advanced laser welding machines, Amada presses, and new guillotines. The company has also expanded its footprint with the addition of 17,000 square feet of workshop and office space adjacent to its Tadcaster headquarters.
