Aro PR and Marketing, which will showcase its outsourced marketing services at Advanced Engineering, has secured its first international client.

The agency specialises in raising the profile of engineering, composites and scientific companies across the UK, and now also in Europe.

Billy McKenna, Aro’s managing director, said: “Aro has gone from strength to strength in the past six months, taking on several new clients and more than doubling our workforce.  We have successfully launched both our marketing and awards application services after building a team of PRs, marketing managers, journalists, associate graphic designers, web builders and SEO professionals.”

Aro has experience in a range of industry awards including: the Queen’s Award for Enterprise; Make UK Awards (formerly EEF Future Manufacturing Awards); UK Private Business Awards, Composites UK Awards; The Manufacturer MX Awards; Electronics Weekly BrightSparks Awards, as well as an array of local business awards.

Aro has proven that distance is no object when it comes to supporting businesses across the aerospace, composites, medical, marine, automotive, nuclear and oil & gas industries.

Always keen to encourage local talent; for the past five years Aro has run a work placement scheme for students from Plymouth University, several of whom have gone on to graduate with a first-class degree. Aro’s first-ever PR and Marketing Apprentice will also be graduating from her course in 2020.

Billy McKenna continued: “We are proud to be working with our local community to give a year in industry to university students, or to offer an apprenticeship as an alternative to university. Our industry is about hands-on learning and the experience that a placement year or apprenticeship can offer is invaluable.”

He added: “Advanced Engineering Show is always a good way to end the year. The show always has a good atmosphere, which is different from any other show we exhibit at.”

“Our Outsourced Marketing service is something that has been in the works for some time now. We introduced it at the end of 2018; we look forward to expanding this service to a larger audience and showcasing Aro’s capabilities. Over the past 6 months, we have grown with the addition of a new Account Manager and Senior Account Executive. The future is looking exciting and we can’t wait to meet potential and existing customers at the show again this year.”

Aro PR and Marketing are exhibiting on stand K70 from October 30th to October 31st at NEC, Birmingham.
