Plastics specialist recruits in 50th year

Nordell, a Worthing-based Plastic Injection Moulding and Extrusion company, has made a series of new appointments to oversee its range of clients in industries such as electronics, medical devices, consumer goods, industrial, and mechanical.  

In this, its 50th year in business, Nordell has appointed Teresa Blackman to help oversee the Customer Care team; Zoltan Meszaros arrives as a new Moulding Development Engineer; and Jason Munday is the company’s new Quality Development Engineer.

Teresa Blackman brings with her over 30-years’ worth of manufacturing experience and now leads the Nordell customer care and sales order processing team. She arrives with 17-years’ worth of experience specifically in the plastics industry. Teresa will be responsible for relating customer order requirements through to Nordell’s manufacturing teams and will provide continuous development in the company’s pursuit of service excellence.

Utilising his key skills and qualifications in Injection Moulding, Automation, Electrical technology and managerial disciplines, Zoltan Meszaros arrives with 18 years’ experience in the plastics industry and strengthens Nordell’s continuous improvement on new and existing projects for its customers.

Finally, Jason brings to Nordell over 9-years’ worth of experience of working within a Quality and Plastics manufacturing environment. He has a passion for Quality Assurance and understanding customer needs and will now be responsible for developing Nordell's Operational Quality Assurance system.

2018 signals Nordell’s 50th year in business and the company is marking this milestone year with a range of events throughout 2018.  These include social celebrations with its team, community events, and workshops and open days for new and existing clients at its Worthing premises, which employs 68 people and serves over 130 customers throughout the UK, Europe, Americas and Asia.
