Norse Precision Castings (stand N110) offers low to medium volume precision aluminium sand castings both as cast and machined.
Other services include painting and sub-assembly.
The company also manufactures rigid polyurethane mouldings for low to medium volume production. These can also be supplied in painted and sub-assembled condition if required.
Complex shapes and patterns can be quickly and cost-effectively manufactured, with wall thickness of 3mm and tolerances of ±0.4mm. An in-house heat treatment using electric top-loading ovens and water quenching is available together with a variety of finishing processes, including shot blasting, glass bead blasting, anodising and impregnation.
There is also a dedicated facility for in-house wet and powder coating comprising two 5m spray booths and curing oven, degreasing equipment and separate masking, inspection and packaging areas.
In terms of in-house CNC machining facilities, there are seven CNC vertical machining centres with table widths between 500 to 1100mm, complemented by co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspection reports.
