Precision laser cutting specialist FC Laser has achieved a record year with 30% growth prompting a need to move to larger premises by the end of the year just to satisfy customer demand.

Because of its impressive expansion, FC Laser has also been taking on new staff, including account manager, Brett Armitage, new business account manager, Ellie Miller and apprentice internal sales engineer, Will Krafts.

FC Laser's managing director Danny Fantom said that the company's success is down to its philosophy of investing in the best people, technology and materials.

"In manufacturing, it's not always possible to provide guarantees, but we promise customers that we will deliver their products on time and to the highest possible quality and we keep to that promise every single time,” he said.

“That's how we have achieved such a fantastic year of growth and why we are moving to brand new premises and taking on key staff as we increase our market share."

FC Laser uses the very latest cutting technology, including a suite of Bystronic laser centres, to produce one-offs or 1,000-offs for satisfied customers in a range of industry sectors, including architectural and structural, agricultural, shop fitting and automotive.

As well as laser cutting, the company offers CNC folding capable of achieving some of the most complex bends in the industry and general machining services as pemming, tapping and drilling/countersinking.

FC Laser's new 20,000 sq ft factory has already received planning approval and the foundations will be laid in early May.
