Contract Electronics Manufacturer, Cogent Technology says it has achieved unsurpassed audit results for the first quarter of 2017.

The company’s quality manager said these positive results are largely due to the fact that the firm puts continuous improvement at the heart of everything it does, which is fundamental in a competitive market.

Aaron Cross, quality manager, Cogent Technology, said: “Cogent’s pursuit of continuous improvement has led to a well-oiled manufacturing process capable of delivering consistently high quality devices, to the timescales our customers expect.”

Nigel Slator, managing director, added: “These recent audit results are a real testament to the professionalism of the team at Cogent Technology and customers, old and new, can be rest assured that their products will meet the required regulatory standards.”

Cogent achieved zero non-conformities during its ISO9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 audits in March and a rigorous FDA inspection to 21CFR820, in February 2017, which yielded an outcome of No Action Indicated (NAI).

Mr Cross said that this not only ensures product quality for customers, it provides them with the assurance of having a product manufactured under a tried and tested process.

He added that one of the key drivers behind the successful audits is is the control and process discipline that is inherent within the company’s unique MaPS system.

The system not only gives the adherence to QMS requirements that the above audits examine but a whole of business and operational planning and monitoring solutions.
