Claire Scott, Technology Adoption Specialist said: “I am excited to attend Subcon 2024.

“The Made Smarter programme is key to helping manufacturing SMEs adopt industrial digital technologies so they can improve their business productivity and benefit from digital transformation.

“However, manufacturers do not achieve their success alone and that is why the Made Smarter team are attending Subcon because all manufacturers throughout the supply chain can take advantage of these technologies - for example to help improve communication across suppliers and to customers as well as decrease lead times and errors.”

Subcon is set to be 25% larger this year and attendees will be able to join interactive CPD-accredited workshops, product demonstrations, keynote presentations, roundtable discussions and more.

Claire, who is a specialist in Additive Manufacturing added: “The manufacturing sector is interconnected and as technology improves, this interconnectedness will continue to grow.

“I am looking forward to connecting with manufacturers at Subcon to understand what challenges they face and how I might help them overcome these challenges and ensure they are best positioned for success.”

From free-to-access impartial expert advice to digital transformation planning, leadership, and skills assessment and up to 50% matched grant funding to adopt hardware and software, Made Smarter is here for you. To register for your regional programme, or find out more, please visit madesmarter.uk/adoption.
