Cambridgeshire-based Effie is a start-up company run by engineers, who have a shared vision of abolishing traditional ironing methods. Through extensive research and development, Effie have designed and created the world’s first automated in-home ironing system.
‘Being an R&D firm has its difficulties,’ explained buyer Eren Erturk. ‘Suppliers tend not to quote low volume components and when they do, the costs are far too high.’
