With over 91,000 visitors to the exhibition, Nylacast were delighted to have exhibited their engineered polymer solutions for the offshore sector from 25th - 28th August at Offshore Northern Seas 2014.
The exhibition and conference celebrated its 40th anniversary in one of the most exciting hubs of the offshore, oil and gas industry; Stavanger, Norway. The exhibition attracted a worldwide audience of over 30 exhibiting nations, and within which Nylacast was one of almost 1300 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and innovations.
The Nylacast team were able to advise visitors on the replacement of metals with Nylacast polymers, using their expertise on materials, components, applications and worldwide projects within the offshore industry. Nylacast polymers lend themselves to such environments, carrying advantages such as being lightweight, corrosion and abrasion resistant, ideal for use in salt water and manufactured in high visibility colours. The materials are also self-lubricating meaning that they promote a very low co-efficient of friction and a long wear life and therefore save time and money on applications.
