After 8 highly successful years, today marks Phil Muscroft's final day as director at Coltech Precision, as he hangs up his slide rule for the final time and heads off into a well deserved retirement!
Having joined his fellow director Gary Colechin in 2010, Coltech quickly benefitted from Phil's wealth of experience in sub contract engineering and expanded from a single, small unit in Sheffield's east end to today occupying a 6000ft2 building close to the M1 with many state of the art CNC machines. Thanks in no small part to Phil's drive and energy, Coltech now boasts a customer portfolio which contains some of the biggest companies in their field from all across the UK.
For many of Coltech's employees, this has been their second stint of working under Phil after his many years as director of Eldon Engineering, and it's testament to the esteem in which Phil is held that many of his former employees jumped at the chance to be reunited with his unique management style!
As well as Phil, his wife Shirley Muscroft will also be retiring. She has been a stalwart of the accounts department, and has handled the demanding role of company secretary with a healthy dose of good old fashioned Yorkshire common sense as well as great deal of good humour! Her warmth and sense of humour (as well as her fine selection of biscuits!) will be sorely missed by all at Coltech.
We're sure that everyone who knows this couple, be they customers, suppliers, colleagues old and new or friends will join us in wishing them a very long and happy retirement and pass on our thanks for their hard work and dedication over the last eight years.
