They have been using Qimtek on and off since 2001, to outsource products that they do not have the resources to manufacture in-house. On average Krohne outsource approximately £600k a year on machining services.
In particular, Khrone told us they enjoy “the easy to use Drag, Drop, Source facility.” Via this, they have sourced two new suppliers who provided them with “high quality” end products and confirmed they will be looking to make longstanding relationships with both suppliers.
When asked what advice they would give to other buyers still thinking about using the service, Krohne said “Try it, it costs absolutely nothing – There is nothing we do not like about Qimtek and we will definitely be using the service again!”
